My family and I were driving through the area and stopped at Gladwyne Lunch. It's very small inside (cozy) but they have outside tables, too.
It's a friendly place with delicious food. We had breakfast, and between the four of us tried many things: French toast, pancakes, omelette, and "big breakfast." My only small complaint is that I wasn't offered a refill of my tea.
For a casual, friendly meal, we recommend this little diner. Note: cash only

Ordered Uber Eats through here this morning. Asked for bacon omelette and received slab of egg with no bacon inside, and egg appearing discolored and unsanitary to eat. Very easy to notice the use of liquid egg. Also, w side of bacon includes two pieces of bacon for 4$? Disappointed in all parts of the order, including the hash browns ( I didn't know hash browns could taste bad). I hate posting negative reviews because small business owners work extremely hard, but this was pretty bad..

Yes, this restaurant is small, but they make due. The staff here is really nice and helpful. They also make great food!

This restaurant is small and a bit hard to find from the street, but don't let that turn you off. When you walk in you are greeted by the regulars here, the friendly staff and delicious smells of fresh food.

Most of the seats are at the counter, which gives you a view of the kitchen and some decor including some old fashioned lunch boxes.

A blackboard shows the menu, which includes their all-day breakfast items including custom omelette, French toast and pancakes. They also have lunch options including cheesesteaks and burgers.

All the food is made in the restaurant by their one chef and sometimes the hostess if it is busy. While the wait can be long and can go up to 20 minutes it is worth it.

The food here is just great. I especially, love their French toast. It is made with homemade bread. The outside is crunchy while the inside is fluffy and full of flavor. Their bacon is also a solid choice as it is made freshly.

This restaurant used to be located in a tiny little "shack", but it has moved to a larger location across the street.

Altogether, this restaurant is great! Nothing better! The restaurant is cozy, the staff is nice and the food is great! Much better than Ruby's or Ardmore Station Cafe.
    Will return!

I give extra points to local spots especially considering some of my family members own a restaurant and I understand the hard work that goes into it.

That being said, I originally wanted a Turkey Burger and was told that they don't have Turkey Burgers..not sure if they meant they don't have any currently, or just don't have any...if it's the latter, I'm not sure why it's on their menu/menu board.

I ended up ordering a breakfast sandwich with hash browns at 12 for lunch. Got chips instead (because I originally asked for chips with the Turkey Burger, I think).

The people who work here (I'm assuming own?) definitely work hard as there are only two people behind the counter. I wanted to like this place but a breakfast sandwich is hard to screw up and not only is their menu wrong (I am assuming), they screwed up my order too.

It is a nice local spots and there are obviously a lot of regulars but I couldn't justify giving it more than three stars.

    Positives: homey feel, nice people
Negatives: wrong menu, screwed up order.

This restaurant is very small, but the food is great.  I love it there.   Great variety and service!   Nice desserts and price is right.  Highly recommend!  My grandson loves the French toast.
